Vintage Wedding Style

Vintage inspired weddings are all the rage now.  And for a good, stylish reason.  I think this design style shouldn’t be limited to just weddings though.  Vintage inspiration can cross all event boundaries making a sweet setting for a baby shower, mother’s day tea or even little girl’s birthday party.  This year’s NotWedding gave us all sorts of ideas when it came to a Vintage themed event.  To pull the style off, antique stores are a must and flea markets a necessity for sure.   This party decor is for brides that admire history, lace, ice tea, home-made additions and those charming vintage customs.   Bloom Floral Design slipped in those soft colors from the post war era, that vintage lace your grandmother made, doilies, weathered woods and wildflowers mixed with roses for that classic wedding day feel! With different sized bird cages, giant round white balloons and antique styled soda pop bottles, they pulled off the perfect shabby chic wedding we’ve always dreamed of having!

The pink wedding dress our cute real life couple wore was a Heidi Elnora original.  It’s actually one of four dresses she wore at her own wedding.  Because Heidi specializes in creating custom gowns, I’m sure if you called her up and told her how much you adored this original piece, she’d make one just for you.
