One of the latest and best sources of inspirations for brides is ballerinas and ballet. I think this wedding trend is perfect for a wedding – it’s classic, glamorous, romantic, and definitely on the girly side! What I love most about it is that you can incorporate the ballet theme throughout your own wedding. Whether it’s wearing a tulle skirted wedding dress, displaying baby pink colored flowers, or hanging ribbons everywhere, your ballerina themed wedding will be lovely event!
I love this photo of the bride tying her ballet slippers! For this faux wedding photo shoot, the bride wore a beautiful white dress with lace details with a pair of ballet shoes. If you don’t own a pair of ballet shoes, just slip on a pair of ballet flats and that’d do the trick! It’s not uncommon for brides to wear flats to their wedding. It’s easier to walk in, and definitely much easier to dance in! (via Yan Photo)
Tulle wedding dresses are one of the main inspirations for a bride that wants to look like a ballerina. But let’s not forget about the classic tutus! For this ballet inspired shoot, tutus were hung from the ceilings, giving the venue quite a romantic feel. The table cover and chair covers also resembled lovely tutus. They have such an edgy look, don’t you agree? (via Jessica Claire Photography)
Pastel pink, lace, and jewels are what come to my mind when I think of ballet. And these wedding invitations fit the theme perfectly. These invitations are charming and dreamy! The centerpieces and table settings are all decked out in pastel shades of pink – I love it! (via Bailie Photography)
One of my favorite parts of a wedding is the dessert table. And this one really rocks my world! The cake really steals the show with all its details in the flowers and ribbons. The snacks look sophisticated and delicious. And my favorite? The pink and white ribbons as the backdrop gives the whole table a great finish. It’s a great DIY project (that I might want to do this weekend)! (via Edison Photography)
Ballerina inspired weddings are filled with baby pinks, fluffy tutus, shiny pearls and crystals, feathers and long ribbons. Sounds like a “dream come true” kind of wedding, right? I love that this trend can be used at any location – whether it’s in the middle of a big city or in a historic location, these elements will still make your event classic and romantic. This makes me wish I continued learning ballet, so I can slip on a pair of cute ballet shoes and dance the night away!

I love the tutu’s hanging from the ceiling! Beautiful!
