Want your recent event featured on OccasionsOnline.com or the next issue of Occasions Magazine?

We are seeking stylish real events to feature and images of inspiring details for our readers.  Happenings like weddings, bridal showers, birthday parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, commitment ceremonies, corporate events, grand openings, charity galas, fundraisers and more.  If your event included stylish details and coordinating components we want to see it!

** Currently we are ESPECIALLY seeking real birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers, bat/bar mitzvahs and other events to feature… and as always.. weddings too!*

Following are guidelines for submitting your images……

FIRST:  Upload your images to our FTP server

• 75 – 100 images that showcase ALL the details and over style of the event (i.e. cake, favors, fashion, invitations, tablescapes and images of the bride/groom or host/hostess).
• Web ready images should be no less than 600 pixels wide!!!!!!!
• remove all watermarks
• name your folder YOUR name
• Upload your files HERE

NEXT:  Email callie (at) occasionsonline (dot) com with the following information:

• Your name, business name and contact information
• Contact information for the Bride/Groom or host/hostess of the event (name, email, & phone number)
• Description: tell us about the vision, inspiration and the unique touch that was infused.
• Please list all event vendors and their web address that should credited.

Photography credit is always given.

ALL submissions will be considered for either web or print features.  If we decide to publish in print, we’ll contact you for the high resolution files we’ve selected.

URGENT NOTE: If your event is chosen for a feature, please know, real event features will not be edited to include additional information after they are published.  When filling out the interview form we’ll send to you, please make sure that you have given us 100% of the information about the event before submitting so that no vendor credits or key information about the event are left off.  Additional vendor credits will not be added after the post is published so please DON’T FORGET ANYONE.

A short note about our editorial policy and real event selection process.  Occasions Magazine is not a pay-for-play publication.  As every media should, we draw a strict line between editorial and advertising to maintain the integrity of our content for our readers.   We strive to deliver relevant content from reliable sources, always.   We select real event features based on the quality of imagery, style of the event and overall coordinated details.  Businesses featured or quoted in our print articles are chosen based on quality of work, professionalism and knowledge of their craft.   Because we have a closer relationship with our advertisers than non-advertisers it is likely we will refer to their expertise for sources and interviews first because of that relationship, but we will always attempt to include the insight of non-advertisers as well.  Please note, advertising does not guarantee editorial coverage and editorial coverage is not a replacement for your advertising.
