Vinewood , located in historic Newnan, GA, is the ideal venue for your wedding ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner or special event. Built in 1852, this Georgia Plantation House and its Stables were fully renovated to include all of the contemporary amenities you need without sacrificing any of the Southern tradition and charm that you deserve. Situated on 10-acres, the sprawling landscape provides a spectacular backdrop for any special occasion.

THE MAIN HOUSE

Vinewood’s crowning gem is the original plantation house. Built in 1852, this home has been lovingly maintained over the years. The Main House still has all of her historic charm while offering the contemporary amenities you need on the day of your event while preparing for your special occasion. The Main House is available the day of your wedding for everything from a bridal luncheon to bridal party preparations, as well as wedding party photography. The attention to detail from the interiors of The Main House to the gardens and grounds are sure to impress both you and your guests on your special day.

THE PRE CEREMONY

Vinewood also offers a Pre Ceremony for your guests to enjoy the formalgardens of Vinewood before your wedding ceremony. Your guests will be greeted by a valet at the front of The Main House and be escorted through the foyer to the pool and sunken gardens. While beverages and small bites are being served, your guests will be given the opportunity during The Pre Ceremony to mix and mingle while you are putting on the finishing touches for your wedding day. Your guests will then be directed to the designated area for your ceremony just in time for your once in a lifetime entrance.

THE STABLES

Vinewood offers our historic stables, meadows and pastures for your wedding festivities. The Stables date back to the 1830’s and were recently renovated with all the amenities necessary for your event. Upon entering The Stables’ foyer, the understated elegance is apparent, from the reclaimed brick flooring to the twelve light chandelier overhead. The main hall which once housed sixteen horse stalls has now been opened up to accommodate any style event you can imagine. The entire interior is clad in antique oak and heart pine. We provide 15 ten foot long frmstyle tables made from reclaimed antique heartpine and 150 eclectic vintage chairs that can be used for your ceremony and reception. In addition to the main hall The Stables includes a built-in bar area, two bathrooms, and a large service area. Surrounding The Stables are pastures of rolling hills peppered with ancient oaks and a most impressive pecan tree known as The Wedding Tree. The fire pit nestled in the field just behind The Stables has become a favorite location for guests to retire to as evening approaches.
