About

Built in 1924, The Biltmore Hotel was the focal point of Atlanta's business and social life for almost sixty years. Once publicized as ""The South's Supreme Hotel"", The Biltmore closed its doors in 1982, following changes in ownership and years of steady decline. After sixteen years of neglect and abandonment, The Biltmore underwent a total renovation in 1999, transforming the former hotel into a combination of Class A office space, retail and special event space. With the renovation of The Georgian and Imperial Ballrooms, and now listed on The National Register of Historic Places, The Biltmore quickly recaptured its standing as one of the social and business epicenters of Atlanta. Featuring original handcrafted plaster relief ceilings, restored crystal chandeliers, Palladian windows and Tennessee marble floors, the special event space can accommodate groups from 50 to 2000 guests.

AMAZING!!! The Biltmore Ballrooms are absolutely gorgeous and create such a wonderful ambience for your event. I had the pleasure of working with Carrie Hopson in booking both ballrooms for my wedding ceremony and reception in February of this year. It was such a pleasure to work with Carrie - every detail was considered, she was extremely pleasant to work with and was extremely responsive! I was 100% pleased with the Biltmore's customer service. The ballrooms are absolutely amazing - we also had a large band there and it wasn't too loud or anything - it was absolutely perfect! Also, since the ballrooms have such beautiful detail, you can save money on decor ;) Our wedding guests continue to talk about how amazing they thought the venue was. I highly recommend considering this as an option - absolutely beautiful!!

As a destination wedding planner from Minnesota, I came across the Biltmore ballrooms as a high end venue in Atlanta. From the minute my Clients walked in for our venue tour, they were sold by its grandeur and beauty and proceeded to book the Georgian Ballroom on the spot. From the ornate design, high ceilings, and classic architecture – the Georgian Ballroom was the perfect backdrop for my Clients wanting a royal style wedding. Carrie Hopson was so accommodating to our every need and nothing was left to be questioned. Between her and the rest of the Biltmore staff, the wedding day was flawless! Carrie was beyond helpful with the inter-workings of the venue itself and so gracious with other vendor recommendations. The overall attention to details exceeded my Bride and Groom’s expectations and they truly felt and were treated like royalty. My time spent in Atlanta was wonderful Thanks to Carrie, the Biltmore, and rest of the vendors who participated in this amazing production. I highly encourage people looking for a grand venue, to check out the Biltmore Ballrooms and hope I get the opportunity to host and plan another event with the staff at the Biltmore!!!
