Nancy Jo was FABULOUS to work with! She really took the time to get to know me and my family, so that when the day came she captured the perfect moments to express all the emotions of our special day. She knows what she wants from posed shots (of which there weren't many) so she works quickly to ensure our guests weren't waiting forever for us to arrive at the reception. We have the most beautiful wedding pictures that we will treasure forever thanks to Nancy Jo.

Nancy Jo was excellent. She captured everything beautifully and caught the overall feel of the entire day. She was efficient, fun to take directions from, and made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. Her pictures are priceless and I will continue to look at them for many years to come. My screen saver, photo on my desk, mantle, wall, bedroom. Everywhere I look, I see Nancy Jo's pictures!!!

Nancy Jo has been a friend, business associate and networker of mine for many years and it has been so much fun to watch her “reinvent herself” from a publisher to professional photographer. She began taking portraits of our family when our daughter Sarah was born, over 8 years ago. Nancy Jo’s greatest gift is her ability to motivate, encourage or just sweetly demand that we release our true selves to total abandonment which in turn captures a timeless and unique portrait that is our family. I am her biggest fan.

I can hardly express the gratitude and awe I have for Nancy Jo as a person and as an artist. When I first met with Nancy Jo, we planned on talking for about 30 minutes to an hour; it turned into 3-4 hours of fun-filled stories full of laughter. At that moment, my worries about choosing the right photographer disappeared. I realized Nancy Jo was a genuine person who truly desires to capture authentic moments. Enough about her character … ;) When I received the slide show (just two weeks after my wedding!), my expectations were shattered! She chose the perfect song for the slideshow; it fit the mood of the celebration and our personalities superbly. She sees what is happening in the heart and somehow articulates it with pictures. Her fire and energy compels her to get just the right photo and makes her somewhat of a perfectionist---a perfect characteristic to have in a photographer! Her photos allow you to relive every moment. They will elicit the excitement, the joy, the tears, and the thrills you had in that moment and reveal the moments you were unable to experience. I view my slideshow almost everyday because it makes me feel like I am at my wedding. What a work of Art!!! If you want a photographer who will bottle up the emotions of your event so that you can enjoy them for years to come, you have your woman. I wanted my photos to display the myriad of emotions I felt and my guests felt at my wedding, and Nancy Jo did just that…and more! ;)

From the moment I met Nancy Jo, we connected as if we had known each other our entire lives. My son married last year on our family farm and Nancy Jo was recommended to us. Her approach is unique - she came to the farm for our first meetnig, so she could see the location first hand. She met with all of us and became fast friends of our entire family. The weekend of the wedding, she came in on Friday to capture the entire weekend of memories - rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, morning of the wedding - preparations & details & and farm scenery - and of course the actual wedding ceremony and reception. The memories captured in her photographs are a "story book fairy tale" - from beginning to end. She organized our photographs in such a manner, that we were able to pick our favorites in an order that she then turned into our keepsake coffee table books that tell my son and daughter-in-law's wedding story, from front cover to the last page. It is a beautiful story with beautiful photographs, but the most special treasure to us as a family is all the "memories behind the memories" ---of Nancy Jo being with us every step of the way and guiding us towards capturing every memorable moment, and best of all - having a lot of fun in the process. She truly lives up to her motto of "It's Life..... Captured and Framed"!

First, Nancy Jo McDaniel is a terrific professional photographer with an exceptional capacity to frame and to elicit results as outlined in pre-event meetings and discussions. Nancy Jo’s energy, effervesce, and attention to our particular requests made her an exceptional match for our wedding. The managed, yet vigorous pace and flawless execution of her work produced hundreds of expertly-constructed digitals. However, it was the depth and texture captured in each photograph that defined us, our guests, and the true significance of this momentous occasion. Moreover, within just a week of the wedding, she created and delivered an online slide presentation (with Sinatra accompaniment) that transported Marsha and me to each phase of the wedding. Upon making this web scrapbook available to our family and friends, they, too, were able to re-live the emotions and excitement of that May evening. Nancy Jo, When Brian and I were searching for our wedding photographer we must have visited a dozen websites. e weren't exactly sure what we were looking for at the time, but knew that we wanted to feel something--anything--about the photographs and photographer we chose. I'm sure most artists believe that their art is a personal extension of themselves, but in your case it really is! This is evident in the way you intuitively know how to capture people and moments, even the seemingly insignificant ones. You have a rare gift for understanding the personalities, emotions, and underlying feelings of an event. You certainly did this for us.
