The Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center is the area’s newest jewel. Conveniently located only two miles from the Mall of Georgia, the Center is the ideal location for your wedding ceremony or reception! Our high-ceilinged, open rooms feature sweeping views of our lushly wooded property, offering an ideal location and unique venue to host your important day!

Entire Center

Enjoy complete access to the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center for your event. All rooms are available for rental use and all exhibits are available for your guest’s pleasure! This is ideal for large guest lists!

Blue Planet Theater

The Blue Planet Theater, our contemporary, state-of-the-art space features a unique waterscreen cascading into a nine foot infinity pool. A high-tech SmartPodium, 400 disc CD player, and 4100 square feet of high ceilings combine to make this a stunning locale for weddings or receptions. The delicate nature views of the adjoining terrace balance the sleek blue pendant lighting and terrazzo floors to create a sophisticated atmosphere.

The Ivy Room

Window walls provide picturesque views of wooded slopes and the rippling water feature. These natural scenes are the back drop for your event within our large 2100 square foot expanse. Vaulted ceilings with exposed wood trusses, natural lighting, and eco-friendly carpet combine to create a serene atmosphere fully integrated with technology.

Dining Area

Overlooking our beautiful water feature, this area is a great addition to The Ivy as a buffet and mingling area.

 Outdoor Pavilion

The nature surrounded stone based pavilion is a serene setting for an outdoor ceremony. After the ceremony guests walk just three minutes to the building for the reception.

 The Bridge

The gently flowing stream of our water feature flows below you as you have a panorama of the beautiful building and the lush green space that hugs this majestic scene for your wedding ceremony.

The Facility Rental Fee includes setup and breakdown of tables and chairs, use of the catering kitchen, use of ice machine and coat room, use of AV equipment, and free parking. Additional rental options are a 16x16 stage and a 20x20 dance floor.
