Next up in our featured series from the recent NACE Event Design Trends Competition here in Atlanta is the perfect table setting for a brunch wedding by Ashley Baber Weddings. This setting is complete with pink linens, mini-champagne favors for guests, a crossword puzzle menu card and suspended centerpiece rich with pink roses hanging above. Simply gorgeous. Thank you Laura from Artstar Photography for sending these pictures in!
Here’s how Ashley Baber describes this table setting….
Our bride wants a unique experience—not your average evening wedding. A brunch wedding on a sunny, Spring, Sunday morning was the perfect choice for this bride-to-be. We started with the new Pantone color of the year, “Honeysuckle.” We decided to add dimension to the palette by going tonal with the color utilizing peaches, pinks and corals. This fresh pop of color was a perfect place to start! The airy, organza overlay sets the tone for the beautiful table. The stationery was then painted by hand in watercolor with floral accents reminiscent of the florals utilized in the decor. Our bride loves the unexpected, so we chose the whimsical concept of having florals hanging above the tables rather than just placed on the tables.
Upon closer inspection, you will see that every detail for the wedding has been created so that the guests have an enjoyable experience including the fun stations-style brunch menu featuring a “Make your own Pancake” station and a “Cereal Bar” with all of your childhood favorites. We also love mimosas (of course!), an Espresso Bar and a “Make your Own Bloody Mary” Bar for this occasion. We have even provided guests with the Sunday paper—customized with a headline announcing the marriage of our couple and cute facts about the bride and groom in a crossword puzzle.
