Bride Tamiya has always known that she wanted an elegant fall wedding. Married last October at Flint Hill, her picturesque dream day came true when she said I do to longtime boyfriend Damon in a ceremony and reception that positively popped with vibrant shades of the season. Can you give us an overview of the event?: Our outdoor wedding was located at Flint Hill in Historic Norcross, GA at 12:30 pm. The venue is a restored 1835 mansion. The weather was perfect – mid 60s and sunny.
Was there a specific theme or style? : Simple Fall Elegance – Color was the key and we used our flowers to reflect the season.

Did you DIY any of the details?: The design team at Flint Hill took care of most details. I bought the memory candle, votive, and marbles. I also bought throw pillows to place on the swings on the back porch of the venue. Family members and a friend helped me tie ribbons around the bubbles and place personalized labels on the bottles and tea favors.
What was the most memorable moment?: Our most memorable moment was when we first saw each other as I walked down the aisle. We were so happy and knew getting married was an excellent decision.
What were the honeymoon plans?: We honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic for 7 days at the Excellence Punta Cana All Inclusive Resort.
