For a party or wedding reception, we have all seen the conventional food bars. Candy Bar, cupcake bar, mashed potato bar, there are so many different bars that everyone uses these days. I have discovered some food bars that are so different that you will want to be trying them out next time you throw a party. Some could be used for wedding receptions and some may be better for a party or event. There is no doubt that these food bars will leave your mouth watering!
How fun is this? For a wedding reception or another party consider having a trail mix bar! Lay out your favorite granolas as a base and then all your favorite trail mix toppings. This is great for a health nut because you can include your favorite healthy treats to stuff in your bags. For kids include sweet treats because you kids love trail mix but only if it has M&Ms in it! We have seen lemonade bars and other drink bars but what about an apple cider bar? Perfect for a winter event, cook up your favorite apple cider (or buy your favorite apple cider) and set it up to serve at your event. Set out condiments such as cinnamon sticks and salted caramel for a delicious drink alternative. I also love the set-up with apples all around the table, so cute and rustic! (via Cake Events Blog)
Everyone loves popcorn right? Try setting up a popcorn bar! This could be perfect for a birthday party or even a wedding reception. I love popcorn balls, a tasty little treat and then you can set up different flavors of popcorn and different candies to go with popcorn M&Ms are my favorite treat to eat with popcorn so I would definitely set that out. Other options are junior mints, caramels, or candy corn, what is your favorite sweet treat to eat with popcorn? (via Pen ‘n’ Paperflowers )
I am LOVING this idea of a cereal bar! Perfect for a spend-the-night party for a little girl’s birthday. Lay all out their favorite cereals and set up the different types of milks in fun shaped pitchers. I think the idea of serving the cereal in teacups- makes for a cute early morning tea party. How cute is the burlap banner too? SUCH an easy DIY! (via JuBella)
So next time you are planning a party, take into consideration something different! It will be a surefire hit!
