Itay and Ashley spent several vacations at the Ritz-Carlton Naples Resort so when Itay proposed to Ashley on August 13, 2010 at the Ritz-Carlton Naples Resort it only seemed fitting to have the wedding there.
The ceremony was held in the outside center court which held the 130 guests. One of Ashley’s best friends, Skye Dyer, sang the song Halleluiah while everyone walked down the aisle. Shortly thereafter, the cocktail hour was held in the same area followed by the reception in the Artisan’s Hall. The wedding theme was based on a very elegant and enchanting springtime feeling. Stargazer lilies and white roses were used along with accents of gold, silver, and cranberry colors all captured by Tonya Malay Photography. The brides gown was a long strapless English lace dress accented with Swarovski crystals designed by Pricilla of Boston. The brides-made dresses were cranberry colored, long flowing chiffon also made by Pricilla of Boston as well. At the reception, guests were served mixed baby field greens – tart cranberries, crumbled Maytag blue cheese and spiced pecans, red wine vinaigrette. Followed by grilled top sirloin – caramelized onions marmalade, dauphinoise potatoes, haricots verts with wine merchant sauce paired with filet of seared stone bass. Our event DJ was DJ Ceron. He was incredible… he kept the crowd dancing all night and started the night off with the Hora! Ashley describes their wedding as ”An absolute fairytale – the weather was a perfect Spring evening and the guests danced and laughed all night long!”
