Get creative with your next birthday party! We love this clever “crossword puzzle” theme from Sarah De Jesus of Dreamers Joy Events & Design, LLC. She was searching for a unique birthday theme that would be perfect for celebrating a milestone birthday. She fell in love with the idea of using the words “Happy Birthday” within a crossword puzzle. This theme is also fitting for gender neutral parties!

Sarah contacted Christian of Diseno Lopez to design who designed the crossword puzzle poster that served as the backdrop for the party table. The table was decorated in a black, white, and red color scheme (including the food!). She decoupaged three bottles using newspaper and crossword puzzle cutouts for decoration. Sarah reached out to Jennifer of The Hudson Cakery to collaborate on the sweet treats for this clever birthday. Sarah said, “Jennifer loved the idea and suggested the use of the newspaper riddle “What’s black, white and read all over?” which helped tie the theme together. Jennifer designed the fabulous Crossword Puzzle cake, the mini donuts, square cookies, white chocolate covered puzzles and cake pops.

The matching crossword puzzle party printables were designed by Marian of Life On Paper Co. Printables are a great way to tie together your theme in an inexpensive and “do-it-yourself” manner. Little favor tags, cupcake toppers, and matching signs gives your party table a cohesive look.
