Have you seen this amazing picture of our model Chelsea in the recent issue of Occasions Magazine? It was taken at our 200 Peachtree photo shoot and is one of my favorite shots from the entire day. She’s wearing a handmade capelet from Modern Romance, a cute bridal accessory shop we found on Etsy here. Though may of the items Modern Romance creates are typically for brides, I actually paired this capelet with an ivory evening gown from Susan Lee gown shop in Buckhead. The items are quite versatile and are the perfect third layer to any formal wear attire.
Modern Romance makes many different types of gown accessories and even hair pieces too. There’s more great items to share than we could fit in the magazine so here’s a sampling of the items Christine shipped for the big shoot.
You can order the items in a variety of colors like white, ivory, black and red. The color options let the gown accessory have a life outside of weddings because you could really add them to any dress. My favorite pieces were the new items in black below. The shoulder coverings really jazz up an otherwise boring little black dress and give you a little bit of “out there” modesty too.
